Harmony Heights
A Sustainable Mixed-Use Haven for Diverse Urban Living
This is a project showcasing a mixed use development centered around walkability and sustainability. It is 29 floors high with a 5-floor podium featuring an extensive atrium with a glass ceiling for natural lighting.
The main design idea for the project was growth and diversity. By being able to accommodate a variety of people through designing spaces for different activities ranging from restaurants and cafes, supermarkets and retail shops, to hospital services, banking and recreational, and finally offices and residential apartments.
Sustainability was achieved through use of perforated corten steel facades bolted to the structure to allow for sunshading while still allowing for natural ventilation.
Mixed housing was also achieved by designing units of different sizes, from one and two bedrooms to duplexes and open plan designs with a luxurioius feel for the guests and owners staying in them.
