This website and all related materials have been reviewed for compliance with the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Act (Cap 525), subsidiary legislation, the BORAQS Code of Conduct, and the applicable Practice Notes issued by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS).

1. Registration Status

  • Name: Stacy Kabi
  • Title: Graduate Architect (Kenya)
  • Membership: Member of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK).
  • The title “Graduate Architect” is used in accordance with Cap 525 Section 15 and Code of Conduct Clause 3.1, without implying registration as a practising architect.

2. Scope of Services

  • Independent services offered through this website are limited to:
    • 3D visualisation and rendering (interior and exterior)
    • Non-statutory concept design
    • Architectural presentation materials for marketing and design communication
  • All statutory architectural services — including preparation of construction drawings, submission to statutory authorities, and contract administration — are carried out only under the supervision of a Registered Architect.
  • This complies with:
    • Cap 525 Section 15(1) – restriction of the practice of architecture to registered persons
    • Code of Conduct Clause 2.4 – prohibition of misrepresentation of professional status

3. Project Attribution

  • Portfolio projects are organised into the following categories:
    1. Under Supervision of Registered Architect – projects undertaken under the direct supervision of a registered architect (credited by name and BORAQS registration number).
    2. Professional 3D Visualisation for Industry Clients – commissioned renders for interior designers, developers, or other industry professionals.
    3. Academic & Personal Concept Projects – unbuilt works, design exercises, and conceptual proposals created for learning or personal development.
  • All academic/personal projects are clearly labelled as conceptual or unbuilt.
  • Supervising architects and collaborators are credited in captions where applicable.
  • This complies with Code of Conduct Clause 5.2 – requirement to avoid misleading representation.

4. Marketing & Publicity

  • All promotional material avoids false or exaggerated claims, in compliance with Code of Conduct Clause 5.1.
  • The Calendly booking link is explicitly for enquiries regarding non-statutory services (3D visualisation, rendering, concept design).
  • Any request for statutory services is referred to a registered supervising architect.

5. Professional Integrity

  • The term “Architect” is not used without the qualifying term “Graduate” in any context.
  • The website makes no suggestion that the Graduate Architect is engaged in independent statutory practice.
  • This complies with:
    • Practice Notes on Title Usage – guidance on how graduates may identify themselves publicly
    • Code of Conduct Clause 3.1 – prohibition of misleading titles
